Abstract

376,510. Adjusting wireless apparatus. YATES, W., 1, Stanger Road, South Norwood, London. July 24, 1931, No. 21192. [Class 37.] Adjustment and indicating mechanism for condenser tuning elements comprises fast and slow motion drum dials permanently in gear and driven simultaneously in the same direction by worm and bevel gearing. As shown, the main dial a is secured to a sleeve c upon which the secondary dial b turns freely, the sleeve c being fixed to the condenser spindle n. The gearing comprises a bevel gear d, e to the drum b, and a worm and pinion drive h to the drum a. The operating- knob l may be omitted and the drum b provided with a milled edge for turning directly.
