Abstract

444,083. Reflector holders. MAXLUME LIGHTING & HEATING CO., Ltd., and THORPE, F. W., Plume and Victoria Works, Aston, Birmingham. Dec. 22, 1934, No. 36784. [Class 75 (ii)] In means for detachably suspending a reflectbr 4 from a lamp-holder 2 in which the resilient arms 9 of a clip are provided with seatings 10 to grip the rim of a circular opening in the reflector, the arms 9 are provided with rigid tongues 13 to form entry-gaps 12 to the seatings of a width to admit flattened portions 16 of a bead on the reflector so that, when the latter is turned to engage intact portions 15 of the bead in the seatings 10, accidental detachment is prevented by the tongues 13. In a modification, holes are provided in the lower forked ends of the arms to receive the intact portions 15 of the bead and communicate with entrygaps adapted to allow of the passage of the flattened portions 16.
