[Class 108 (i)] Vehicle roofs are provided with a transversely slidable panel above one or more doors to facilitate entry and exit to and from the vehicle. As shown the vehicle is provided with two opposite doors a, b and two panels d, e slidable relatively to each other. A rigid central longitudinal member k is provided. The side edges o, t of the panels are guided by members p, q together with strips k<1>, r, s. The front and rear edges of the panel d are provided with flanges f, m and similar edges of the panel e are provided with flanges n, i. The edges of the panel d, e are adapted to enter grooves j in the tops of the members c of the doors a, b. Handles g, h for manipulating the panes, are provided.
