380,284. Vehicle bodies. VIZCAYA, J. A. A. DE, Villa Le Haras, Chaville, Seineet-Oise, France. Oct. 28, 1931, No. 29895. Convention date, Oct. 31, 1930. [Class 108 (i).] In closed vehicle metal bodies of the type adapted to be attached to the usual chassis carrying the various mechanical parts each of the two lateral walls a is formed of a single panel of light metal cut from a single thickness of material and the edges of the panel are flanged for the whole or part of their length, the upper part being curved to form the commencement of the roof. The panel a is bent over at b, b<1>, b<2> as shown and adapted to be secured to the other panel or to an intermediate transverse panel by means of flanges c, c<1>. The lateral panel is provided with the usual door and window openings and wheel recesses e<1>. A flange h is provided to form the step and the body panels a may be secured to bars l to stiffen them and enable them to be secured to the chassis.
