[Class 52 (ii)] A cabinet or like folding bedstead comprises a mattress frame a, pivoted at c to plates d arranged one on each side of the cabinet or wall recess e and having legs pivoted thereto near the foot end and pivotally connected to points m on the plates d by links l. The legs j and links l fold when the frame a is folded into the cabinet or recess e. Folding of the frame a is assisted by springs f, which have their upper ends secured to attachment brackets g attached one on each side of the frame a near the head thereof, and have their lower ends secured through adjustable eyebolts i to floor brackets h situated vertically beneath the pivots c. The frame a may have an open wire framework n fitted near the head to locate the bolsters and pillows and prevent displacement of the bedding when the frame a is tilted.
