Abstract
Pharmaceutical products are obtained by triturating freshly gathered plants or portions thereof, such as melissa officinal s and peppermint, with a sugar which, in presence of the plant constituents, shows little or no tendency to crystallize. Suitable sugars are glucose, fructose, invert sugar, and mixtures of these with cane sugar or milk sugar. The products are dried at low temperatures. Known preparations made with cane- or milk-sugar are referred to.
