[Class 27] Coin action, multiple coin with delivery proportionate to value of coin. -A meter prepayment mechanism adapted for operation by different coins and giving proportionate delivery comprises a pair of quantity wheels c, d, selectively actuated by a rotary coin pocket, and connected through an epicyclic gear with a sun-wheel f of a differential quantity mechanism. Movement is transmitted from this sun-wheel to a driven sun-wheel g operating the commodity' control member with a step-up ratio, the sun-wheel f being of greater diameter than the sun-wheel g, and the connected planet pinions h<3>, h<4> being of corresponding different diameters.
