440,743. Flexible metal tubes. POWER FLEXIBLE TUBING CO., Ltd., Derby Works, Finsbury Park, London.- (Assignees of Debenedetti, R. ; 50, Via Cervino, Turin, Italy) July 6, 1934, No. 19905. Convention date, July 29, 1933. [Class 99 (ii)] Metal tubing is composed of two metal tubes 1, 3 with an interposed layer or layers 2 of plastic or elastic material, e.g. rubber, the tubing being corrugated helically or annularly to secure flexibility. The outer tube may be made of wear-resisting metal such as iron, copper or copper-alloy and the inner tube of lead or other metal proof against the chemical action of the fluid passing through the tubing, and the rubber, which may be in a compressed condition, is preferably vulcanized after the tubing is corrugated. In a modification the tubing consists of more than two metal tubes with a rubber layer between each or some of them.
