[Class 4] [See also Group XXX] A radial or other engine which requires to be manipulated to varying positions while suspended, is slung from a wheel g by means of a curved rail a. The latter can be moved by hand over the wheel to turn the engine into any desired position. Preferably the rail is fixed so that the centre from which the arc is struck approximates to the centre of gravity of the engine so that the latter will remain in any position to which it is adjusted. An arm e<2>, connected to one end of the rail by a gusset plate, carries a hook d<2> engaging an eye on the engine, while plates b at the other end carry a cross-pin c engaging a hole in the adjacent part of the engine. The wheel g is suspended from the hoisting-gear h.
