Convention date, Aug. 9,1934, Addition to 440,584. [A Specification was laid open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, June 4, 1935.] Drawings to Specification. [Class 8 (ii)] [See also Group VI] For preliminarily clogging the filter element of the parent Specification, comprising a strip of pleated paper, the cut edges of which are sealed by a sealing composition disposed in shallow trays in the filter casing, a mixture of sublimable bodies of different particle size may be employed and this mixture, or a single sublimable substance when used, may form part of an ignitable mixture. For example, a mixture containing ten parts each of indigo and benzidine sulphate and eight parts of potassium perchlorate may be ignited by an incandescent wire and the air containing the mixed sublimate passed through the filter.
