[Class 8 (ii).] A filter comprises a number of layers 1 of wire gauze &c. adapted to be wetted with dirtcollecting substance, the layers being spaced apart slightly, e.g. by doubling their margins as at 1a, and the composite screen corrugated or undulated as a whole.
