E., The Cottage, Fayland Avenue, Streatham Park, and RAWLINGS MANUFACTURING CO., Ltd., 1, Larch Road, Balham, all in London. July 13, 1934, No. 20610. Addition to 411,941. [Class 20 (iii)] A vehicle window and holder therefor, as described in the parent Specification, is provided with modified regulating means comprising pinions 6 on a shaft mounted in the top rail of the lower fixed sash, engaging racks 3 on the vertical stiles of the upper sliding sash. Actuating means for the shaft may consist of worm gear 11, 7, with or without a slipping clutch and a counterbalancing helical spring. Buffers may be provided for the fully opened and closed positions, and the racks may be modified to render them inoperative in those positions.
