438,285. Valve generating circuits. WILSON, J. C., and BAIRD TELEVISION, Ltd., 58, Victoria Street, Westminster. Aug. 31, 1934, No. 25119. [Class 40 (v)] In order to vary the amplitude without affecting the frequency of a sawtoothed oscillation generator, an inductance 7 is included in the anode circuit of the oscillator 5 and is variably coupled with an inductance 4 in the charging circuit 1, 3, of the condenser 2, so that the induced voltage is added algebraically to the normal output of the valve-oscillator. The resulting voltages are applied to the electrodes 6 of a cathoderay tube.
