437,141. Washing-machines. OSBALDISTON, J., 49, Darwen Street, Blackburn. Aug. 24, 1934, No. 24381. [Class 138 (ii)] The agitator D of a washing-machine is connected to the underside of the cover B by means of flexible or swivelling links E whereby when the agitator is oscillated by means of its handle c it is also caused to rise and fall through the action of the links. In the form shown in Fig. 5, the links are connected to the top of the cover and to a collar C<1> on the agitator shaft C.
