S., 20, Holborn, London.-(Naamlooze Vennootschap Philips' Gloeilampenfabrieken; Emmasingel, Eindhoven, Holland) Feb. 24, 1934, No. 20170 /35. Divided out of 435,697 under which a Specification was laid open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, April 15, 1935, [Class 39 (ii)] The leading-in wires 21, 22 of a gas-filled electric lamp, more particularly of the kind provided with a " coiled-coil " filament, each contain a fuse which terminates in a recess in a thick insulating layer 24 at the bottom of a cap of the bayonet-joint type, the thickness of the insulating layer being such that arcing between the ends of the fuses is prevented. The fuses are preferably made of nickel or nickel alloys, as described in Specification 435,697.
