435,741. Card clothing. DAVIS & FURBER MACHINE CO., Water Street, North Andover, Massachusetts, U.S.A. April 10, 1935, No. 11099. Convention date, Nov. 22, 1934. [Classes 120 (i) and 120 (iii)] Any teeth projecting from the back of card clothing are reset by passing the clothing over a roller 3 which is rotated at a speed greater than that of the feed of the clothing and is preferably provided with smooth rounded corrugations 4. The roller may form part of a separate apparatus but, as shown, forms part of a machine for mounting fillets of card clothing on a roll and is driven by a band 10 from the shaft 21 of the tension roll, the clothing passing round suitable guides 12, 14.
