Abstract

435,486. Valve generating circuits. ALLGEMEINE ELEKTRICITATS - GES., 2, Friedrich Karl-Ufer, Berlin. March 23, 1934, No. 9235. Convention date, March 23, 1933. [Class 40 (v)] In a relaxation oscillation generator, the condenser 12 is charged from a D.C. source 11, or from rectified mains supply, through an indirectly-heated double-grid valve 13, and is discharged in the normal manner through a triode valve 14 or a neon tube. The valve 13 has an oxide cathode, and its inner grid is connected directly or with positive bias to the cathode, whilst the other grid RG is connected to the anode. The valve 13 may include a further grid adjacent the anode. When rectified mains supply is employed, bias may be obtained therefrom for the inner grid of the valve 13, and the grid of the valve 14. Specification 394,476 is referred to.
