[Class 56] [See also Groups XI and II] High frequency current passes, in opposite directions, through a hollow conductor 17 and an element 18 in contact with a glass sheet 16. The edge of the element 18 becomes heated and water is forced through the aperture 19 to break the glass in a line following the edge.
