[Class 110 (iii)] In a steam turbine plant for driving a propeller 1 of a vehicle, ship, &c. the blades of which can be adjusted for reversing, the main driving turbine 2 is irreversible, and one or more auxiliary rotary machines 6 are driven by it through the gearing 3. The machine 6 is shown as a pump supplying cooling water to the condenser 5, from which the condensate is removed by a pump 10. An air ejector 7 and a boiler feed pump 11 are provided.
