[Class 20 (iii)] A sliding garage door a moves into an open position at right-angles to the plane of the doorway, being supported by a single roller hanger l on an angled rail g, parallel to the wall and door opening of the garage and the door is guided at another point by swivelling slide b and a bar c. The hanger comprises a roller l on a double-bent swivelling bracket. The door is provided with a section hinged on a vertical axis m at the base for garages with sunk floors and inclined entrances x. The position of the hanger l is so chosen that the slide b engages the bar c by the action of gravity. The bar c is supported by a wall bracket and the rail g by a bracket screwed to the rod c at r. Roller guides are provided at the bottom of the door.
