432,255. Endless-belt conveyers. COOK, R. C. V., Countesswells House, Bieldside, Aberdeenshire, and BARRY, HENRY, & COOK, Ltd., 122¢, West North Street, Aberdeen. Jan. 28, 1935, No. 2722. [Class 78 (i)] A conveyer or elevator of the flat endless-belt type comprises a pair of longitudinal side supports 2 extending the full length of the conveyer, a flat flexible belt 3 having transverse slats 4 of angle section secured thereto at intervals to prevent sagging of the belt in the centre, and wearing-pads 6 secured to the underside of the belt beneath each end of the slats to rest on the supports 2. The slats and wearing-pads are detachably secured to the belt by bolts 5, and the belt travels in a trough formed by side members 1 secured to the supports 2.
