Abstract

372,863. Endless rope conveyers. ELLSON, B. E., Abford House, Wilton Road, London. March 4, 1931, No. 6691. [Class 78 (i).] A conveyer comprises a pair of parallel endless ropes B connected at intervals by U-shaped stirrups F, and a trough G formed of flexible material such as rubber, canvas, leather, &c. or chain mesh, or interwoven links attached to the stirrups. Sagging of the trough is prevented by suspension lines H. Baffles N, Fig. 3, may be provided on the stirrups or trough to facilitate the conveyance of material on inclines. The stirrups may be wider as shown at Q, Fig. 5, and the sections R shorter. Specification 373,090 is referred to.
