[Class 78 (i).] A conveyer for coal comprises parallel chains 5, 6 and cross-bars covered with short lengths of rubber tubing 11, 12. Trays 13 are mounted below the bars for collecting small pieces and dust. The bars may be replaced by strong wire spirals which may be provided with an internal core of rubber, or an external sleeve of rubber.
