736,853. Vehicle fittings; endless conveyers. OPPERMAN, S. E., and GANWICK ESTATES, Ltd. Aug. 27, 1952 [Aug. 27, 1951], No. 20123/51. Addition to 687,670, [Group I]. Classes 78 (1) and 78 (4). A moving floor for vehicles as claimed in the parent Specification comprises slats or battens 3 secured at the ends of the lower surface to lugs 5 projecting from alternate inner link plates of an endless roller chain, the rollers 4 of which project above and below the links and run on tracks 6 on the vehicle floor. A central roller chain or chains 7 running on a track or tracks 8 may be secured to the slots by angle members on each link. The chains are guided over sprockets whereby a sudden twist is imparted to the slots whereby solid residues are ejected and the conveyer cleaned.
