432,107. Firegrates with boilers. DIAMOND, W. J., 24, Syr Davids Avenue, Canton, Cardiff. Jan. 16, 1934, No. 1594. [Class 126] In a domestic firegrate at the rear of which is an elongated tubular flue member 3 with a boiler 1 supported therein, the boiler is arranged in spaced relation with all the walls of the flue member so that the flue gases from the grate pass over practically the whole of the outer surface of the boiler, and the front wall 4, 4<a>, 4b or a portion thereof is removable and permits ready access to the boiler for removal or repair. The upper end of the flue has a damper 8, pivoted to the front wall and adjusted by the engagement of a bar 15 on the hood 12 with an arm 14 attached to the damper, or by the engagement of a rotatable arm or cam with the damper. The flue and boiler may be removable as a unit, and are held in 'position by side plates 6. In a modified form a hinged flap may be let down, when the damper 8 is lifted, to baffle the upward outlet from the fire.
