[Class 35] Cores, yokes and carcase structures.- The laminations of a dynamo - electric machine are mounted on channelsection members, the edges of which are bent to form a dovetail engaging corresponding slots in the laminations. Fig. 2 shows such a member 7 the portions 11 of which are bent inwards to bear against each other at 11<a> and outwards to form the dovetail. The channel is welded to a support 3 at 8, 9. In a modification the sides of the channel incline inwards from the base and may be welded together where they touch.
