428,601. Tool-holders. BRUNING, P., (trading as BRUNING MASCHINEN UND WERKZEUGFABRIK, P.), 132, Ackerstrasse, Berlin. March 4, 1935, No. 6798. Convention date, March 2, 1934. [Class 83 (iii)] A resilient tool support for tools such as parting and forming tools comprises a toolholder portion and a stock portion connected by one or more leaf springs. The tool-holder portion c, Fig. 2, is adapted to grip the tool g between upper and lower portions held together by a central pin h and nuts d, a set-screw o taking the reaction of the tool-holding parts. A limited amount of tilting is provided for by ball-and-socket joints arranged on each side of the leaf springs b, the latter being adjustably secured to the stock portion a by a screwed bolt.
