Abstract

426,494. Gas burners. RIGHTON, W. J., 376, Euston Road, London. Oct. 6, 1933, No. 27592. [Classes 75 (i) and 75 (iii)] [See also Group XIII] The water jacket of a geyser is supported on a ring-shaped bracket 6 which carries a mounting 12 for the water supply pipe 14 and gas supply pipe 13 screwed at 9 to a detachable main gas burner 11 having a pilot jet 15 which rotates vertically to ignite the main burner. The water tap 14<a> is interconnected with the tap 15<a> of the pilot jet, which, after turning on the water, is slid out of a recess 15b in the mounting 12 thereby turning on the gas supply, is lit and turned vertically. The burner is supported by projections 10 on the ring 6.
