Abstract

425,919. Thermionic valves. EDWARDS, J. H., 35, St. James Avenue, Ealing, London. Sept. 30, 1933, No. 26952. [Class 39 (i)] The anode of a valve having a helically-wound control grid consists of one or more plates arranged with their surfaces parallel to the electron stream ; the spacing between the plates and the control grid may be very small. As shown the anode consists of sections of corrugated metal strip 5 arranged edgewise and connected with an inner grid structure 4 surrounding the control grid. Specification 406,659 is referred to.
