[Class 37] Adjustment mechanism for radio receivers wherein the degree of indicator illumination varies with the control means has opaque cam-shaped screens 45 secured to the operating shafts 33 and located between the light source 37 and a slotted escutcheon plate 15. A sheet of translucent material 26 is secured to the back of the escutcheon plate and has differently coloured strips 27 ... 31. The masks are arranged to cut off or pass light through the inclined portions 24 of the slot 25, the horizontal portion of the slot being always illuminated.
