Abstract

<PICT:0425743/IV/1> A device for cleaning the nozzle 6 of an artificial silk spinning apparatus comprises an arm 40 which moves horizontally across the face of the nozzle. The filter 7 and nozzle may be pivoted about an axis 34. By means of cables and pulleys or other suitable arrangement, both the cleaning of the nozzle and the swinging aside of the filter and nozzle may be carried out by an operative situated at a lower level near the twisting device.
