Abstract

In the production of magnetizable material in the form of thin wires or ribbons, especially for the loading of communication lines, by the method set out in the parent Specification, the material consists of an iron-nickel alloy containing over 30 and preferably up to 50 per cent of nickel and 1-25 of manganese. One or more other elements such as chromium, molybdenum, vanadium, tungsten, aluminium, and silicon may be present in the alloy in a total amount of 0,5-3 per cent.
