423,346. Gaiters. PONCE, I. DUPRAT-, 2, Rue de la Republique, Lyons, France. Aug. 17, 1934, No. 23765. Convention date, Nov. 24, 1933. [Class 141] Gaiters are made with the opening on the inner side of the leg and extending to near the lower edge, leaving a tongue 4 to which an elastic band 5 is attached. The opening is preferably oblique as shown, and is closed by a zip or other fastening on the inside so as not to show. The edges of the opening may be faced with a resilient strip, such as thin steel. A dummy seam with buttons is provided on the outer leg side.
