423,201. Kettles &c. NEWEY & BLOOMER, Ltd., and BLOOMER, F. C. M., 21, Moseley Road, Birmingham. Sept. 21, 1933, No. 26040. [Class 66] The detachable or hinged lid of a kettle &c. is formed with a deep domed portion b in the side of which an aperture c formed with a feathered edge c<1> and affording a whistle is provided, a baffle plate d, disposed below the aperture c, having an opening e through which steam passes to the whistle. A cowl f is disposed above the aperture c and a second opening g may be provided below the baffle plate to allow the escape of excess steam.
