Abstract

420,113. Securing covers of metal drums &c. WAGSTAFF, H., 21, Bridgewater Street, Liverpool. July 24, 1933, No. 20757. [Class 21] The detachable flanged cover of a sheet metal drum &c. is clamped in position by a contractible ring 6 embracing the flange, the ends of which are drawn together by rotating a cam element 12 by means of a handle 14. The cam is locked in position by a flat 18 and an abutment 20 and /or by a wire passing through an aperture 19 in plate 7 and through an aperture in the cam disc. This wire may if desired be sealed.
