[Class 21.] A lid is secured on a drum &c. by means of a metal band 6 receiving and embracing the peripheral edges of the lid 4 and a flange 2 on the drum &c., the ends overlapping and being secured by a sleeve 10 which is mutilated to make the joint secure.
