340,869. Clamping rings for cans &c. MAUSER, R., 230, Goltsteinstrasse, Marienburg, and MAUSER MASCHINENBAU GES., 28, Marienstrasse, Ehrenfeld, both in Cologne, Germany. March 6,1930, No. 7398. [Class 125 (iii).] The tightening means a of a clamping ring d, of U-shape or semi-circular cross section, for the covers of tins &c. is provided with a limiting resistance, such as a rivet head b, in order to fix the maximum opening of the ring so that the latter and the cover always remain connected.
