[Class 116.] In a system in which the carriers pass from a sending-tube common to a number of sending stations to a distributing tube common to a number of receivers, an air lock is interposed between the sending and distributing tubes which are connected to the suction and pressure sides of the means producing the air current. The sending stations S1, S<2> .... are associated with a tube F1 connected to the suction side of the blower device G, and a carrier to be transmitted passes through the destination control arrangement A and an airlock arrangement K to the tube F2 connected to the pressure side of the device G and provided with the junctions W2, W3, W4 .... associated with receiving stations E2, E3, E4, .... Two systems as shown in the Figure may be connected by junctions and switching tubes, the air current, 'and suction being produced by one blower or by blowers associated with each system.
