Abstract

1,178,484. Pneumatic conveyers. FIBER CONTROLS CORP. 6 Feb., 1967 [29 June, 1966], No. 5667/67. Heading B8A. [Also in Divisions D1 and G3] The material distributing control system described in Specification 1,178,483 is applied to an arrangement in which a number of stations are supplied from a plurality of sources, with means for selecting which source supplies which station. In Fig. 1 (not shown), there are two sources and five stations; four are always supplied from their respective nearest station while the centre one can be supplied from either by selector switch or plug, and by interposing a vane (166, 168) in the vacuum system, either manually or electromagnetically. In Fig. 2 (not shown), four stations are supplied from two sources in any desired combination by operation of a fiveposition selector switch and appropriate vanes.
