Abstract

1283816 Pneumatic conveyers FIBER CONTROLS CORP 5 June 1970 [9 July 1969 29 Aug 1969 31 March 1970 (3)] 27326/70 Heading B8A In a pneumatic conveying system for distributing fibre material to a number of stations, control circuitry is provided to cause fibre to be supplied to all the stations indicating a demand and, after all the demanding stations have been so supplied, the conveyer line is purged of fibre by operating at least one of only those stations which received fibre during a predetermined number of previous cycles to the exclusion of, and thereby preventing the overfeed of any station which did not demand to be supplied during those cycles. The demanding stations may be fed sequentially or in a given priority. Examples of control circuits are described in detail with reference to Figs. 1-5 (not shown).
