Abstract

The walls of a fireproof container for films are made of a mixture consisting of 25 parts by weight of sawdust, 25 parts of calcined magnesite, 30 parts of magnesium chloride and 10 parts of a mixture containing 4 parts of asbestos flour, 3 parts of asbestos fibre and 3 parts of acetic acid. In making up the whole, a 25 per cent solution of magnesium chloride is used.
