[Class 20 (ii).] A step-ladder in which stop means are provided at the upper end to limit the opening, has the step portion A disposed within the rear portion B, and projecting portions C of the top step act as stops to the rear or stop portion. The parts of the ladder hinge on a through bolt E, and extensions F are provided to the rear strut portions to serve as handholds.
