[Classes 97 (i) and 98 (i).] To attach a photographic camera f, projection prism or the like to an optical observation instrument, the ocular tube d of the instrument is inserted in and clamped to a sleeve a by a slitted elastic ring c and a screw b ; the upper end of the sleeve is provided with a bevelled groove e that is adapted to engage with a corresponding projection k fitted on a prism housing h on the camera ; an arc-shaped projection l, provided on the housing h opposite to the projection k, is fitted with screws m which bear against the sleeve a and may be adjusted so that the optical axes of the camera and the instrument are parallel.
