Abstract

414,752. Shaft couplings. COX, A. F., Carlton Lodge, Thicket Road, Anerley, London. Feb. 9, 1933, No. 3961. [Class 80 (ii).] A power transmission system has outer and inner rotors K, J coupled together by vanes L having flat tips L<2>. The working chambers communicate one with another, and may be open to atmosphere, or may contain a lubricant. The slots in the rotor J are longer than the vanes, axially, so that the vanes can take up a position somewhat inclined to the slots.
