[Class 44.] In photograph and like frames having a hinged or detachable back panel, the panel b, Fig. 1, is held in position by pivoted hookfastenings c, which engage headed studs d<2> or the like, fixed to the frame near its edges and projecting through holes in the panel. Each stud is preferably provided with a locating-collar d<1>, Fig. 2, which rests against a shoulder on the stud and determines the amount of projection. The studs may be replaced by eyed or loop-ended screws.
