Abstract

A composition for filling cracks in brick, stone, and like structures is prepared by dissolving rubber in a solvent such as naphtha and admixing the solution with molten colophony in such proportions that there is between 6-12 per cent by weight of rubber to colophony in the final product the solvent being driven off by heat. Fillers and colouring matters may also be added. Specifications 16299/94, [Class 70], and 349,440 are referred to.
