[Class 7 (ii).] Rollers 5 by which the drive is transmitted from the piston rods to a cam on the engine shaft reciprocate along lines which do not pass through the axis of the shaft. As shown, the axis of the roller 5 is displaced from the vertical through the shaft by a distance equal to its own radius and that of the shaft.
