[Class 18.] A powder distributer comprises a slidable closure member h paving holes which move into and out of registration with corresponding holes in a cap e, and a spring j which tends to hold the member h in the closed position. A catch device o is operated to hold the member h in the open position. A perforated plate c is interposed between the sliding member h and the container. The catches o form slots in the operating handle.
