[Class 40 (v).] Harmonics are eliminated from the output of a valve oscillator 1 by connecting two or more acceptor circuits A, B, C, tuned to the various harmonics, as shunts across the whole or part of the main oscillatory circuit 3, 4. Each shunt circuit also includes a common rejector circuit 11, 12 to confine the fundamental oscillation to the main circuit 3, 4.
