409,977. Mixing and grinding mills. FICKENSCHER, W., 2<1>, Forsthaus-Strasse, Blasewitz, Dresden, Germany. Sept. 4, 1933, No. 24528. [Classes 59 and 86.] A machine for working liquid, pulverized, or granular materials, particularly for mixing and conching cacao and chocolate, comprises a plurality of horizontally mounted intermeshing toothed grinding members 3 rotatable in a heated or cooled casing 1, the lower half of which is shaped to fit closely on the heads of the teeth 4 of the grinding members 3. The teeth 4 are either in the form of longitudinal ribs, or the teeth of adjacent members 3 mounted on the same axis may be relatively offset to form part of a helix.
